Counselling Services
A core component of our counselling can either be via the telephone, face-to-face or via video link. Our counselling is short term and solution focused.
If need longer term support, our teams will help them find the support they need in their local area.
Life has its ups and downs, and everyone has times when issues are difficult to handle and may affect our lives at work and individuals don’t know who to turn to for help. That’s where we can help.
Providing counselling means that you help your employees deal with their emotional and psychological issues before it impacts on their productivity or presence at work.
Our service is provided by professional and qualified counsellors who are very experienced in dealing with a wide range of issues, from stress, anxiety, depression, addiction and bereavement to trauma, relationship problems, work issues and many more.
Our specialists are available 24/7, 365 per year.
Telephone Counselling
Many of our clients choose our counselling via the telephone in the local language of the employee. All calls to our local call centres are answered by trained counsellors providing immediate help to the individual. Employees can call us as many times as they need, about the same problem or other issues they find themselves facing.

Personal Counselling (Face to Face counselling)
Clients who need to see a counselor in person will be referred to one of our 30,000 counselors in our global network. This referral will be made where a short term focus is considered appropriate for the presenting condition.
For remote workers or workers in locations with no easy access to affiliates, counselling sessions can be provided via Skype-video, technology-permitting, or through a series of telephone consultations that are scheduled with the same AXA ICAS International clinician.
We aim to provide the first appointment within 2 days and find that up to 5 sessions of personal counselling is normally sufficient.
Where short term counselling is not considered appropriate clients will be supported through a further referral process for longer term therapy or psychiatric treatment.
